We are a Portuguese family, born and raised with sweets playing a huge part in our childhood. Growing up, our fondest memories were filled with the joy of sharing sweets — whether it was after school, on special occasions, or just because. Those little moments of sweetness always brought so much happiness.
Now, as parents, we wanted our children to experience that same joy and childhood magic. Every day after school, our youngest would look up at us with those big hopeful eyes and say, “Mummy… can we go to the corner shop?” And every single day, we’d leave with a little bag of sweets. It became our special little ritual. 🍬
The Dream That Started It All
One evening, while we were talking about dreams, we asked our son what he would wish for most in the world. Without hesitation, he looked at us and said the words above — and that moment touched our hearts deeply. In a world full of worries and grown-up responsibilities, he reminded us to never stop dreaming bigger and brighter, just like a child.
And just like that, Sweet Doce Vibes was born. 🎉 What started as a daily corner shop adventure has now grown into a little shop filled with colour, love, and the same joy we experienced as kids — a place where both our children get to be part of the fun and the sweet memories we grew up with.
